Draconis' space

Lets start off with what was right about the game...the idea. That's right this game is a terrible game incomparable to its PC predecessor; riddled with frame rate issues and  visuals that remind you of playing an early ps2 game. There's not really much to say except the sky looks great thats about it the colors on the buildings to the characters is horrible and washed out. The multi-player suffers from terrible lag and microphone support if you can actually use them. 2/10

     Metal Gear Solid 4 yet again revolutionizes the stealth-action genre it created 20 long years ago. This new title introduces many new aspects to the franchise including the S.O.P. system (Sons of the Patriots) which effectively enhances soldiers abilities in combat situations as well as shielding them from effects of pain and mental instability. The game opens with a rather long but great opening sequence explaining how war and combat has evolved over the years, using NANO machines to dictate every action the soldiers do in combat. The age of heroes has died and the era of the machine has come forward. Now enough with the crazed fake review writing haha. This game by far is one of the best games on the PS3 system from its great control system to its great use of the new Octo-Camo suit. Graphically, there are things better such as Uncharted though what it lacks in the graphic department (don't get me wrong it is a visually stunning game still) it makes up with the action. If you are into running and gunning then you can enter 1st person mode throughout the game but you lose the essence of what makes Metal Gear so great, STEALTH. As a stealth-action game nothing comes near its superb playability (not even Splinter Cell, OMG NO HE SAID SOMETHING FANBOYISH!!!!!) because don't forget MGS did create the genre yet never stayed within it always striving to set itself apart from other games. Now the cut-scenes though long are they all essential to the story...NO they aren't only some are others are merely for dramatic effect !!!!!SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER!!!!!( Like the scene with Myrle and snake talking about how Cambell is Meryll's father) was it necessary to watch it no, no it wasn't but you could skip them without any consequences. Anyways, whether you are running and gunning or sneaking around the battlefield you will love this game. Gosh it is so hard to write things when you don't really wanna spoil it for others but i will say this the gun customization is great and the Drebin system was nicely done. Also the amount of Easter Eggs are amazing whether it is a secret face or a hidden weapon there is lots of things to be found. The re playability value is high with secrets that can only be unlocked through a 2nd or 7th time through, this game is one of the most amazing games to date.
